Where is MADE @ The Local?
MADE @ The Local is upstairs at 111 S Public Square, Centerville, TN — the same building as The LOCAL Place café. Access the studio via the staircase inside the building.
What are MADE's hours?
MADE is open Wednesday through Saturday, 12pm–7pm. We are closed Sunday through Tuesday. Last seating is at 5pm.
Do I need a reservation for pottery?
No — walk-ins are welcome for paint-your-own pottery during business hours. Just come in and choose your piece.
Do I need a reservation for candle making?
Yes — please call ahead at (931) 729-8459 before visiting for candle making. The wax takes 1.5 hours to heat, so walk-ins cannot start immediately. A quick heads-up means everything is ready when you arrive.
Is BYOB allowed at MADE?
Yes — BYOB is welcome at MADE @ The Local. Bring wine, beer, or your favorite drinks to enjoy while you create.
How far is MADE from Nashville?
MADE @ The Local is about 70 minutes from Nashville, TN. It's a popular day trip for groups, date nights, and bachelorette parties looking for a creative experience outside the city.
Do you do wheel throwing or clay from scratch?
No — MADE is a paint-your-own pottery studio. Guests paint pre-made bisque pottery pieces, which are then glazed and fired on-site in our two kilns. We do not offer wheel throwing or hand-building from raw clay.
How long does it take to get my pottery back?
Pottery pickup is typically 7–14 days after your visit. We fire everything on-site in our two kilns. We can also ship finished pieces to out-of-state visitors.
Can I book MADE for a private party?

Is MADE good for kids?
Yes — paint-your-own pottery is fun for all ages, including kids. No experience needed, and our staff is happy to help younger guests choose a piece and get painting.
