1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of The LOCAL Place Booking application (the “App”) operated by The LOCAL Place (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our App to make reservations, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

The App provides online booking and payment processing for:

• MADE @ The Local: Paint-your-own pottery parties and candle-making workshops
• Italian Dinner Experience: Multi-course dinner reservations at The LOCAL Place

3. Reservations and Deposits

3.1 Reservations require a deposit paid at the time of booking. Deposit amounts vary by experience type.

3.2 Your reservation is confirmed once payment is successfully processed through Stripe.

3.3 You will receive a confirmation email with your booking details.

4. Cancellation Policy

MADE @ The Local (Pottery & Candle Parties):

• 48+ hours before: Full refund
• 24-48 hours before: Studio credit issued
• Less than 24 hours: No refund

Italian Dinner Experience:

• 48+ hours before: Full refund
• 24-48 hours before: 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours: No refund

No-shows forfeit the full deposit.

5. Payment Processing

5.1 All payments are processed securely through Stripe's payment platform.

5.2 We accept major credit and debit cards.

5.3 By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method.

6. Modifications

To reschedule or modify your reservation, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Modifications are subject to availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

7.2 We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

7.3 Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your reservation.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with The LOCAL Place and the App remain our exclusive property.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hickman County, Tennessee.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
